Thanks, nass! Please excuse what I'm pretty certain will sound like Utterly Basic Queries......1/ I presume it's been unwise to rely on Microsoft Security Essentials to Keep The Blue Meanies Out? 2/ " " I need to remove it if I use Superantispyware?3/ You list several other clean-up programs......Superantispyware is enough?4/ Do I need to remove UNIBLUE POWER SUITE, ADVANCED REGISTRY OPTIMISER and COMPLETE PC CARE as well? Wouldn't surprise me if I've ever-so-helpfully overloaded my system with pointless stuff - I think even I've found out that the system can do what UNIBLUE does, but your profopinion will be welcome.Sent with gratitude and in ignorance.............Bob
